The Find

I always label these posts as my “latest find” but with thrift shopping I feel these items always find me. You never know what you will discover while sifting through rack after rack of treasures in select sizes. Leather jackets are particularly difficult to find. Thrift stores tease me with the jacket aisle, after shoes I quickly run over hoping to find something spectacular, especially if the shoes let me down. To my surprise, (or not because I was in a smaller center) I found this leather jacket in the perfect size! After thinking over the uncommon colour ie. wearing it around the store, I decided to take it home with me to introduce it to my closet.

Thoughts? What do you think of the colour?

Here is my thrift store pecking order:

    1) SHOES (boots in particular)
    2) Blazers
    3) Outerwear
    4) Dresses
    5) “Everything else” Shirts/Sweaters/Jeans (usually have the fewest finds)
    6) Jewelry… last, since it’s usually right at the counter, perfect for some impulse purchasing :)

P.S. Love the green, it’s making a huge comeback! Could see this jacket hanging out nicely with some camel/neutrals/burnt orange

My shopping order is very similar! Unless I have something in particular I’m looking for or I don’t feel like trying things on and skip skirts.

Thanks for your comment Becca! I JUST bought a burnt orange sweater and said “OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH” out loud when I read your comment. Must go play dress-up….

Dig it! Something about it is very 80’s varsity but also very current. Wish it was mine!

Ok so you lucked out big time on this leather jacket! It’s amazing.

I am not to sure what the color is but I love it. I feel like dark off black colors work with everything even if they have a hue of blue, green or purple.

    Great find hands down!
